The Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University recently released the State of the Nation's Housing 2004 which optimistically asserts "Despite growing concern over the pace of development, housing construction over the next 10 years is likely to exceed that over the last 10." The Nashville-Middle Tennessee housing market has grown by an average of 13% per year over the past five years and is expected to experience continued growth resulting from low un-employment, low mortgage interest rates, availability of developable land and consumer demand.
